Only if Life Were a Musical… March 19, 2008

Filed under: Uncategorized — khessman @ 12:07 am

Okay…This post is going to be a LOT different from other posts I’ve written on here.

I was just on the Tag Surfer on WordPress where you get to look at other peoples’ blogs regarding topics you write about on your own blog and I came across an entry by Sara of …so Sara said.

In her post, she discusses how “Life IS a Musical!”

I’ll admit: honestly,  sometimes,  I wish life were a musical.

Why, you ask?

Because in the crazy hustle-and-bustle-life we all live in…Wouldn’t it be cool to all of a sudden have someone start singing and then have the rest of the people join in and dance around and have fun?

I think so!

Several movies and TV shows have emphasized this idea, including the recent Disney movie Enchanted” with the Oscar-nominated song “That’s How You Know:”

Another one is a “Scrubs”  episode where a woman is convinced the doctors around her are singing as if they were in a musical. Here’s JD & Turk singing “Guy Love”:

Well, now in real life, an Improv group called ImprovEverywhere decided they’d try this approach on real people…In a Los Angeles mall food court.

Check it out!!!!
